COLLECTION OF INFORMATION

We only collect personal information in ways that are obvious to you where you, the site visitor, are asked to freely give us the information. Forms that gather information are; the contact form (location), our newsletter sign up form (in the footer of all pages), and the Business Survey (location). Our forms do not save IP address.

You may at anytime and for any reason contact us to inquire as to what personal information of yours we have on file. You may also request that we destroy your information at any time, for any reason and we will comply with your request.

COOKIES

The Strathmore & District Chamber of Commerce does not collect any data via browser cookies but we do use Google Analytics on our website that does collect anonymous data such as your geographic location, computer specifications, time on site etc. We have access to the information and use it to make decisions on how we manage our website. Google and their partners also have access to this information and we cannot guarantee how that is used. Please refer to Google Services Privacy Policy for more information.

EMAIL

The Strathmore & District Chamber of Commerce uses MailChimp to collect email addresses for our mailing lists. We retain your first name and email address on those lists to allow us to send personalized emails to you via the MailChimp service. If you’re receiving our emails, you are a member (members are automatically added to our lists) or you signed up for our emails. We adhere to the rules of the Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation. You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time via the unsubscribe link provided at the bottom of every email, or by contacting us. If you have received an email from us that you did not request, please contact us immediately, and we will rectify the issue.
